Marlborough is located close to the heart of New Zealand, on the north east corner of the South Island, due west of Wellington city.
Marlborough’s year-round sunshine and diverse landscape are conducive to an easy-going lifestyle and excellent range of tourist attractions and activities.
Whether you love wine or wildlife, sea kayaking or cruising, native bush walks or formal garden rambles. There are galleries, museums, Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, craft studios and food specialties to discover.
Marlborough is synonymous internationally for its distinctive, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc. It is New Zealand’s largest wine making region with around 65 wineries and 290 grape growers and over 4000 hectares planted in grapes, mainly Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.
Borrow our bicycles and cycle through the vineyards.
Korohi Vineyard is only 500m from the Wairau river. Mount Richmond Forest Park dominates the skyline from Blenheim and the Wairau Valley. The park provides ample opportunities for bush walking, tramping, fishing, hunting, climbing, horse riding, and mountain biking

Marlborough Sounds
Marlborough is also known for its idyllic Sounds - a labyrinth of waterways, numerous bays and hidden coves, creating 1500 kilometres of stunning coastline sheltered from the open sea. The Marlborough Sounds have breathtaking scenery, untouched native forest and wildlife accessible by road, boat, kayak or foot.
Stretching between the Queen Charlotte and Keneperu Sound is the Queen Charlotte Track. A 71km track renowned for its stunning views and contrasting landscape, historical landmarks and wonderful variety of native bush and wildlife.
Visit Havelock, famous for the greenlip mussels.
